Summary
Other world quest based adventure from the point of view of both animals and humans involved.
Review
The story takes a little reader investment in order to get going. There are a range of characters and we meet them all before we understand how everything will fit together. Once established the plot is well paced and unusual in it’s choice of central voices. Ecological and spiritual fantasy is becoming a relevent and helpful way of interpreting where we are with the world now and I feel that was the aim with this book.
★★★★☆
Why you’ll like it
Enjoyable exploration of how humans impact on the world and continue to interact with each other in a hyper civilised world.
Why you won’t
A few “would they really do that?” moments with some established characters.
