Review
There’s a good story in here, with promising characters, and it has great potential for entertaining young adult readers who like their fantasy tinged with romance. Its big failing is that it is far too long. The descriptions are so detailed that it’s easy to lose the story, and it was a struggle to keep up interest whilst being bogged down in detail. A good editor could trim the fat from this, correct the myriad grammar and spelling issues and make a good readable adventure story.
★★☆☆☆
Why you’ll like it
It’s an intriguing story and characters with great potential.
Why you won’t like it
Pace is slow, lost in the detail and the grammar and spelling errors overshadow the story much of the time.
